Tmatboey community is located in Tmatboey village, Pring Thom commune, Choam Ksan district, about 45km from north of Preah Vihear city and around 200km from Siem Reap city.

Day 1 - Florican Grassland and Tmatboey

  • 05:30am; Our driver and guide will pick up you from the hotel in Siem Reap for the Florican Grassland, spend around two or three hours to see Blue-breasted Quail, Small Buttonquail,Sarus Craine, Bengal Florican, Black-browed Reed-warbler and Striated Grass bird living among more than 100 bird species there.

  • 09:00am; for Tmat Boey village to see Critically-endangered species Giant Ibis for a few hours.

  • 11:30am; lunch and continue to see White-rumped Pygmy Falcon and other birds at around 3:00pm until dark before heading to the lodge for dinner and then good night’s rest. Overnight at Tmatboey Eco lodge.

Day 2 - Tmatboey early morning trip

  • 04:30am; leaving from the village to see the Giant Ibis flock
  • 10:00am; back to Eco-lodge at Tmatboey for lunch at 11:00am
  • 13:00pm; continue to see Woodpecker (in option) until dinner time. Overnight at Tmatboey Eco lodge.

Day 3 - Tmatboey and back to Siem Reap

  • After breakfast around 07:00am; this is the last day of birding trip at Tmatboey, we try to find other species of bird which we have not seen before.

  • We will be back to Tmatboey Eco lodge for having lunch at 11:00am
  • After lunch we will take our transportation back to Siem Reap and to your hotel in Siem Reap. Package is finished.

  3. To secure the booking, 30% of non-refundable payments from the total amount of bookings must be made in USD dollar at the time of all bookings are confirmed. The non-refundable payment of the balance payment will be made in USD dollar in 2 day before of departure date.
